    Culture problem at Miami ?

Oh, I agree with that 100%. And that mindset is prevalent in south Florida among football AND baseball players. It's a soft, front-running crowd. They're all in when they are on top.

    Culture problem at Miami ?

Dude, if you don't think there are plenty of college athletes who don't give a &^%$ about winning today's game, I just don't know what to tell you. Why wouldn't you expect guys to check out after a 1-2 start?

    Culture problem at Miami ?

No, that is not what I wrote. I have never said, nor implied, that we even have good coaching, much less great coaching.

    Culture problem at Miami ?

I think we have great coaching? If that's how you're going to reply, just move on. Because I haven't said one thing about the quality of our coaching.

    Culture problem at Miami ?

We absolutely have the talent to manhandle Central Michigan. If you're struggling against Central Michigan, it has NOTHING to do with scheme. It has to do with players who don't give a &^%$.

    Culture problem at Miami ?

You say it's not a culture problem, but I can point to many programs that have had great coaching with a terrible locker room. But I am not surprised that you cannot make the connection.

So UF needed new coaches after 2010?

    Culture problem at Miami ?

Agreed. ****, I can't believe people don't get that this is a real thing.

That almost looks like a plan other than "build a fence around Miami-Dade".

    Culture problem at Miami ?

There it is again. You people think we have the players, but we just don't have the coaches. As though an average-top-15 recruiting class needs elite coaches to run up and down on Central Michigan. We have too many guys who are playing out the schedule because they think it's their ticket to da...

    Culture problem at Miami ?

I am also wondering what's so hard to understand. This is an issue that literally every company and sports team talks about. You have to have the right people. If you have selfish, entitled people, you're not winning anything. It is an issue that doesn't get fixed just by getting the right X's...

    Culture problem at Miami ?

Apparently you have never been in sports, so you don't know that the mindset in the locker room absolutely affects what happens on the field. Culture is a real thing, and it impacts any organization (of any kind). If you bring in the wrong employees or the wrong players, ones that don't have the...

    Culture problem at Miami ?

And? Jim Harbaugh is an elite coach who currently leads a team that can't win. Speaking of overrated brands.......

    Culture problem at Miami ?

Oh my. Urban left Gainesville because he had no Tebow and all of a sudden lost five games. He also had the off-field issues. His program was an absolute mess. What is it about Ohio State that he didn't want to "rebuild"? He once again faced culture issues.

    Culture problem at Miami ?

Point taken, but let me ask you this. Why was Meyer failing in Gainesville? Why is Harbaugh failing at Michigan? Those guys are elite, but they ran into culture problems, even if they were of their own making. I just refuse to believe that the guys I'm watching on the field would be an elite...

    Culture problem at Miami ?

There's no way that every single coach for 18 years has been incompetent. No way. We are stuck with a recruiting base that grows up soft and entitled. Take a guy like Paul Chryst, a winner, and he fails at Miami just like the others have.
