Im just going off what Randy Sanders installed at ETSU and he got the design and concept from Jimbo Fisher. His entire purpose was so that everyone knew the play and was on the same page before the ball was snapped. Keeping it simple at the FCS level. Once we got a QB that could run it it was...

I’m not gonna argue anymore. LuCane put it best. They’re so versatile that you can do anything you want with an RPO now. The RPOs that we used in college were presnap, count the men in the box, and know what play you’re running based off a number matchup. Listen to McVay and Andy Reid talk about...

I remember when the first ESPN jr rankings came out for his class and he was number 5 overall. The talent is there. We could use it especially if Lingard is slowed or limited early on. Very encouraging for him

I remember Ahmmon doing it a few times and a couple of them he turned up field and made the dude miss and housed it. But that was with Kaaya. I can’t picture this play with JT4. Would be about the only one in the last 2 years.

RPO is not a post snap read and you don’t read an edge defender. That is a read option... totally different concept. RPO you make a decision on numbers in the box as to whether you’re gonna pass or throw and usually have a decision of a run play to one side and pass play to that side and then...

Watch Sean McVay. Watch Dan Enos. Watch Alabama last year. Watch Andy Reid. It’s all evolved to being run under center as well. Sure they burst onto the scene out of shot gun but it’s come along under Center too... mostly in NFL It’s just finding the numbers advantage. You can run it under...

Yep. Read option was a way to simplify an offense for QBs. You read one player not a full alignment. RPO came on the scene to combat defenses playing a single high Safety or defenses loading the box. Exploit the 1 on 1 or force a D to pull the “center fielder” down into the run game. Read...

If you don’t know what an RPO is don’t comment on it. RPO and a read option (I’m sure this is what you’re confusing it with) are different concepts. (Read option is always ran out of shotgun because you read your key on the handoff and decide to pull it and throw or keep or you give it to the back)

The out route to the sticks. When’s the last time we ran routes to the sticks on 3rd down or a 2 minute drill? We always went straight to the 4 verts or the bubble lol Big boy throws from the opposite hash though
