It is going to be on ESPN. Only game this weekend so kind of an easy choice to put on there. Currently needing ACC Network is just for 1 or 2 games. If we are having a really bad season then it could be more. If we have a great season then there will be even less need for ACC Network. It...

I would run the numbers to see if you save money and how much you would save. Then if its significant enough present them and ask if she wants to save that money for a vacation or if being able to watch L&O reruns and Pets 101 is more worth it?

I think the minimalistic approach is the best. You get to find out what you really want to see versus what you were turning on because it was the least of the worst and you were tired of looking.

So I went from paying 140 something for a grandfathered in package where the speed was only 20 mps to paying 60 for only internet at 100 mps. Doing the speed tests I tend to be a little bit faster than what I am suppose to on either one but I am not complaining. They did try to get me to keep...

OK. That sounds like it is beyond my knowledge. I am guessing it is something that is not on the up and up?

YouTube TV has a channel listing. Like many of the cable like streaming services it has some subset of the usual cable channels. You would have to look at it to see if it meets your needs. There are several other popular services you can compare it too like Hulu+ Live, Sling TV, Sony Vue, and...

I thought you had made comments before in other threads about not understanding the cable cutting and how amazing cable is. If that was someone else then I apologize. I do agree that D Rev Lee set in some confusion. I was one of the ones confused until I did research. Even made comments in...

Commercials don't bother me. I don't mind being cheap and letting advertisers pay for it a bit. See it on IMDB and the only thing I wish is that they would line up the commercials with the original break points the shows had for them. Though we are probably a ways away from that. I am just...

Thanks. I have seen people rave about their DVR. To be honest I don't care about a DVR. What is in YT Red? Pretty much only getting either service to get Miami games and not caring much else about live TV. Hulu's library interests me as I want to try some of their originals and also like...

I don't have either nor tried either. I am going to look up the channels they carry versus the price and would suggest you do the same. I do think the Hulu Live comes with the Hulu catalogue which I have wanted to check out anyway. Plus I believe Hulu Live TV has all the ESPN channels that...

Looking at @D RevLee 's statements I got that he was saying that. Maybe I took it out of context. At the very least he seemed to say you can get ACC Network games. Which from what I have been able to find I doubt you get ACC Network games on ESPN+.

Just got off the phone with Spectrum re: ACC Network

I have also been trying to research ESPN+. It looks like at best it would be supplemental. Basically they show non-power 5 games or games that aren't aired anywhere else as far as I can tell. So it seems like it is Hulu Live TV is probably going to be the option unless other services start...

My only interest in ACCN is to get UM games that air on there. If ESPN+ has every UM game no matter where it airs on TV then I am all good with that. So far on the schedule everything is on an ESPN network or not decided yet. Well, FIU is currently list on CBSSN.

Talking to a friend today who only has streaming services. He has a smart TV, roku, and the apple TV. Also just got the fire stick but hasn't set it up. He said the TV streaming is by far the worst and doesn't even bother with it. Between the other two he says roku goes the fastest. I think...

I can understand her not wanting to part with that. It feels like such a necessity. Also if you feel its worth paying for then do it. I can't say much against it. I have been paying for cable for 2 years without being really able to use it. (can use it on one TV but not the TV I use by far...

So Disney is about to make their own streaming service which will have most of their movies (including the Marvel and Star Wars), a lot of their TV shows, and possibly some new stuff just for it. It is going to come out pretty cheap to build up the user base but also because they already own...

From what i have seen on most equipment that even if you go pretty high end you come out ahead in a year compared to the rental fees. At least that is what it was for modems. Get a 10x better modem for less than a years worth of rental.

Just got off the phone with Spectrum re: ACC Network

I have been trying to research to figure out what I would need if I ended up cutting. This seems to be the best option that I could find. Lots of different ESPN channels including the ACC network. I would imagine that would cover all the games for being out of the area.
