I don't doubt that. You could say the same with the 00 team. They didn't get their chance and would have probably been favored over Oklahoma despite their undefeated record. Unfortunately, we've had too many great teams that didn't win it all.

Maybe not but the whole thread is about the best team not to win a championship so I was relating it back to that.

It was definitely underrated but it's difficult to say it was better than 86.
