We certainly won't make it to Omaha if the defense continues to make multiple errors per game. Also, we're making at least 1 base running each game codting us an out or a run. That has stop.

Duke not waiting around. They tmake the pitching change despite their guy having multiple strikeouts and 2 outs. No gamble in their coaching staff.

Is Jenkins still injured? I know he has played the field, but is he able to bat? I like Jenkins in center and Lala in right. Gives us more range in the outfield, another right handed bat in the lineup, another base stealer in the lineup, and Jenkins has a much high average than Crosby.

Bottom line is if we can't win a series against a middle of the pack team like Duke, then we don't deserve to host. We should be running circles around the guys instead we play down and below them.

Yah. They seem to have quiet leaders. Need those vocal leaders. This team is capable of going far in the postseason, but they need to demand excellence and perform to a standard of Canes baseball.

What makes me ill is that we can look elite at times and then look so mediocre like tonght One of the worst games where we didn't pitch well, field well, or hit well. Usually this team has done at least 1 of 3 well. Not tonight. All has been bad.

Someone ( a player) on this team has to step up and demand excellence or this team isn't going anywhere in the postseason. I don't see that fire where not losing matters. That attitude that says, "No way this team is beating us!!!"

This is a total beatdown. We're finding out who we can trust on the mound going into the post season.

This team is young and somewhat soft. Need those dogs who refuse to lose and won't let their teammates get complacent.
