Walton realistically just has to beat out Myles Gaskin to make the 53 man roster, forget the practice squad. And I'm fairly certain he can do that, he's much faster and shiftier than Gaskin. I'd say the odds are above 50% Walton not only makes the roster but is active on game day.

Plus, he can attend his court hearings without paying for a flight. This is a win-win situation for both parties.

He has a tremendous opportunity with Miami. Typically a team will keep at least 4 backs on the roster. Drake and Ballage are locks to make the roster, so he'd really just need to beat out one of the two rookies, 7th round FB Chandler Cox or 7th round RB Myles Gaskin. I'd put my money on...
