Absolutely. I'm talking strictly offense, though. But yes, Venables SCHOOLED Locksley and Tua on Monday night. But there's a reason BV is BV...he's getting 2 million a year to coach defense. You can't expect to hire Brent Venables. Martin would be a very fine choice here.

Except every kid he recruits. He's 40 & black. He's Thomas Brown, but with actual coaching acumen. Kids love him. He's proven himself as one of the best recruiters in the country.

Sure, except he's MUCH better at calling plays than Mark Richt. Mark Richt, in 20 years as a HC (some as a play caller, some not) had ONE (1) top 20 offense. Tee Martin has had 2 in the last 3 years.

Would be great. Most coaches do 1 of 2 things well. Only the best of the best do both. You're either a cut above schematically, or you're a world-class recruiter. Martin is a world-class recruiter. Bring me a ton of great players, and more often than not I'm going to beat you...
