yes. this isnt going to hang out with the team for a week. its going to these kids homes year round, games, camps, etc.

as a coach, hes actually done well with the safeties. they've been good on the field under Banda through the last 3 years. so he doesnt suck. as far as recruiting, it'll be hard to convince anyone to join a program that isnt good (at the time these kids decided, we still had richt and lost diaz)

how do you know he wants to recruit, has the energy to recruit, or will even relate to anyone. its a 24/7 job and not something to do part time.
