Well, it looks like democracy has run its course here. For the moment, and while things are going well, he is "Manny," "Manolo," or "El Jefe." But when the board inevitably turns on him, these are the Top Four vote-getters for his nickname: 1. Mandy Shannon 2. Manuela 3. iaz 4. Nanny...

Don't miss the point of this thread. I never said Manny wouldn't do good things as Miami's head coach. This thread is simply about what the board will call him when all the posters start turning on him.

Okay, after about 15 hours (which is more time than the "national" coaching search took), to this point here's how it's running: 1) Mandy Shannon (11 votes, 33%) 2) Manuela (7 votes, 21%) 3) Nanny (6 votes, 18%) Those are the Top 3 so far, but some others are close behind.

Thanks for the personal insult. Come on, be a sport. Why should we wait 2 or 3 years and fumble around for a nickname then. Might as well go ahead and do it now and take the time to get it right. We might have already spent more time on this than the AD spent on the "national" coaching search...

Maybe we need to make another poll so people can vote on whether or not your nickname should be included in the poll.
