Love Harsin, he's a very good coach, but he's a Boise St lifer. He's from Boise, played there as a QB & coached at Boise St under Dan Hawkins & Chris Petersen. Boise St HC is his dream job, he ain't leaving anytime soon.

Matt Campbell is making $3.6mill at Iowa St with a $19.8mill buyout. Great coach, but no way Miami's BOT is coughing up that kinda money. With the rumors Harbaugh may be on his way out trying to get back to the NFL, I would expect Michigan to go after Campbell.

When I wrote the OP I even said Day wasn't an actual option back then because he was going to be the successor to Urban. I just included him in my original list because I felt he was going to be a great HC, but I never once thought we had a shot with him.
