ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

No one said that the way Miami played yesterday would beat Clemson.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

I think we have as good a chance as anybody. Our schedule is not filled with unbeatable NFL caliber squads.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

Not to mention I think ND loses a couple.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

As I have alluded to before, Voters and committee members are usually caught up in the moment when it comes to things like this. If Miami defeats a top 5 Clemson team the narrative will be that Miami is back and that Richt finally won the big game. Not only a big game but a game against a team...

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

Maybe they get in over the big 12 or pac 12 winner. Not a one loss Miami.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

As I alluded to in another post I don't see two SEC teams making it over Miami. The narrative will be the U is back and Richt finally won a big game and deserves to be in the playoff.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

Nah. Usually people are caught up in the moment. And in the event Miami upsets Clemson it would make people say the "U" is back and Richt has finally won a big game. I don't think the loser of the SEC championship would have any momentum or any defenders unless it is like a very close game...

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

Who are "they"? If Anything Television Networks do not want teams from the same Conference making it to a final 4 in any sport. Ratings usually go down.

Heck Northwestern usually gets up for them.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

They can lose this week for all I know. They can lose to Syracuse. They can lose to USC who would love to spoil their party. I don't think it is in the bag for them to beat everyone.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

Every single defense gives up big plays in 2018 so that is not unique to Miami. I do agree that we should enjoy wins but reading articles on ESPN and agreeing with them does not sound like last season at all. Last season around this time Most people on ESPN were saying horrible things about...

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

The SEC will not have 2 slots this year. And it is certainly not mandatory. It was just the way things played out last year because the Pac 12 and B1G found ways to shoot themselves in the foot.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

IT reminds me of when we finally clicked at the end of 2016 and went on a long winning streak. Hopefully something like that happens again this season and we get stronger as the season ends.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

It would probably take ND going undefeated and the big Big 12 Champ and O$U going undefeated. But I just don't see all those things happening.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

    ND is not going undefeated.

ESPN article mentions "UM set to rise, due to schedule"

I have been saying it for many years now. The way the Playoff committee is set up HELPS a team like us not hurts us. Head Honchos from ESPN will be in the ears of Playoff committee members all Sunday December 2nd long because they know the ratings the Canes always bring in. They will try...
