THIS. I'll admit that he calls some questionable plays. But I think a LOT of it had to do with Malik being incapable of running the majority of the playbook.
There were a lot of people on here talking about Malik's "good" game last week after he completed 56% of his passes and didnt turn the ball over. THAT is how low the bar had been set.
