No offense but did you actually look at what happened there? Dabo turned that program around in 3 years. Their offense was near the bottom before he got there. Decent showing with Bowden's recruits ranking 67th in total offense in year 1 Spiller leaves and their offense takes a tumble ranking...

True indeed. The thing is DBs not playing through the whistle, DL doing unnecessary stunts, mis-timed blitzes on 2nd downs, the middle of the field wide open, etc. doesn't help either.

Its mostly their fault though. A FB isn't going to stop the DT from blowing up Gauthier or Mahoney. Most of the runs we attempted were blown up from the get-go. Could Realus help alleviate some of the issues? Sure but it starts with the OL.

I just wish we had a competent OL and OC.

You're right, they didn't man handle us, but they also did their jobs which was to stop the run.

Penalties are apart of the game. LSU had fewer INTs and TOs.. We're not disciplined on defense or offense. We cut those in half and its possibly a different game but look at how erratic Rosier was on easy passes. Like I said, we probably split with them if we go head-to-head.

Nope. They did exactly what they were supposed to do, control the LOS and make Rosier beat you. They win 5 times out of 10.

No way. Reminds me of the Dolphins getting two free agent LBs to fix their problems against TEs but they can't help. Everyone thought that our rookie LB couldn't be better because he was undersized and raw. One of the FA gets hurt and the rookie LB comes off the bench and out-performs both of them.

Besides the L on our schedule, that's what I'm worried about most. We're already sitting at #18. Not being able to stick with teams that recruit well isn't going attract many.
