Miami's defensive staff vs the competition (Recruiting).

In year 2 Richt had us in the Orange Bowl taking over a program that was ran by Al Golden. Guess what Kirby inherited at UGA? And whom he inherited it from? The two aren't the same thing.

Are we matching up Banda and Rumph to UGA's position coaches? Or to Kirby? If it's to the latter, then yeah, no **** they don't match up resume-wise. If it's the former, then let's get more of a break down.

Baker's good at technique, but straight up athleticism which is needed for a 1st rounder.....nah I'm good.

Never said he didn't. I could take @Coach Macho seriously if he didn't try to spin the narrative in his favor. His main focus on is on how our position coaches on the defensive side of the ball are green. Yet he compares Smart's (who's the head coach) to Rumph and Banda. Meanwhile, (Macho...

Well..........if we're talking strictly CBs. Mike Jackson's been showing up in mock drafts in the 1st/2nd round. Bandy's in his 2nd year and looks to be a slot corner. Dean looks to be a failed experiment. So what's your point?

That's basically what I'm getting at. On a side note, he was apparently hosting parties and such for recruits, but I'm not going deeper on that topic. OP's saying that it's irrelevant. I'm saying it's something to consider.

He was. Here's the problem: We knock Rumph/Banda for the players they've sent to the league so far - Carter, Jenkins, Colbert (who looks like he's going to be a starter this upcoming season). Yet, we don't knock Tucker at all for the blatant blemishes on his resume - turned a dominant Chicago...

    Coley was assisting on that.

You literally had Nevin Shapiro come out while trying to burn down UM that as much as he was paying recruits/players, it was nowhere compared to what happened in the SEC.

I mean sure, Rumph/Banda aren't without fault here on some of our recruiting misfortune at their positions. Although, the position on the team isn't exactly barren either. But you flat out had Campbell's uncle come on here and said that UGA threw bags at his nephew and his family.

While we're debating Rumph/Banda/Simpson's lack of resume. I'm curious as to what cache that Mel Tucker and James Coley have built up to sell to kids. Whom have they developed and sent to the league?
