    It's gonna be Jarren

Perry is the best QB in the world for sandlot football against weak competition. Sadly, that's not who we play week to week.

    It's gonna be Jarren

He certainly does things our other QBs can not do. The O will take off with him under center, especially once he becomes comfortable.

And I was at the VT game in 99 when Dorsey looked like a high school freshman. After that game there was no hope for us to salvage the season. Kenny Kelly was wildly inaccurate all season, and we all desperately wanted a QB that could just hit the targets. After watching Dorsey, no one felt...

    It's gonna be Jarren

Missed a few throws? Man, all of us in the stands were like, there goes the season. Shirreffs might not have been the answer, but you just can't judge a guy on 7 throws, or whatever he had. He sucked for a series against Pitt, while Rosier sucked all game long.

    It's gonna be Jarren

You don’t remember Ken Dorsey at VT in 99.

    It's gonna be Jarren

Actually, he did quite well in practice. Problem is, when you throw just about any cold QB into a game under bad circumstances, they will struggle. Especially one that has had no real game time under his belt. Not saying that he was a better option than Rosier, just that he never got enough...

    It's gonna be Jarren

Some guys need a little time to get hot, or at least warm up. Shirreffs never got that time. It’s easy to bust on a guy because he didn’t come off the bench on fire, but QBs rarely come in hot off the bench.

    It's gonna be Jarren

Jarren is the only QB in the competition that looks like he has the ability, and physicality to play at the next level. He is just a good QB. Yeah, people will say, "He's done nothing yet", but every now and then a guy comes along that just has it. High football IQ, ability, size, he has it...

    It's gonna be Jarren

Teams we played said that about our 2001 team. They often knew what play we'd run, because we didn't have a lot of variety, but what we did we did so well no one could stop it.

    It's gonna be Jarren

A question. While watching the first several games last year, did you not find yourself asking, "Why don't they attack the middle of the field?" I sure as **** did. There is no way Rosier was being asked to run 100% of the playbook. He was asked to keep it simple and not lose games, because...

    It's gonna be Jarren

I wouldn’t put a number on it, but for long stretches last year parts of the field looked like no fly zones. Now, either Richt doesn’t believe in attacking all parts of the field, or he knew Rosiers limitations and called plays accordingly. I believe it’s the latter.

    It's gonna be Jarren

It’s why I laugh every time Richt talks about how well Rosier knows the O. If he knows it so well, why doesn’t he use more of it? I think he’s pumping some serious sunshine just to keep Rosier from bolting.

    It's gonna be Jarren

It’s what he did with Rosier last year. Our passing game looked like it had training wheels on for half the season. Sadly, Rosier couldn’t hit passes consistently no matter how easy they were. If Richt can do that for Rosier, why not for a much more talented QB?

    It's gonna be Jarren

That would be nice, but I'll be darned if we should throw away a season in hopes of getting a QB in 2019. Give me Williams and let him play 3 years. I'm sure we can grab another QB in the next three years.

    It's gonna be Jarren

And I was the only one on the board that said he'd be in front of Perry. Tell me how wrong I was there, pal.

    It's gonna be Jarren

I never once thought Perry was "Da Gawd". I never saw a lot in Allison, either. I see something completely different in Williams, and if his poise, accuracy, work ethic, and maturity doesn't excite you, I just don't know what to say. He is the most complete QB we have had on our roster in years.

    It's gonna be Jarren

60% AND a better deep ball? I agree with you 100%. If he can get that kind of production from Rosier, a GOOD QB will really have the O humming. Not just the passing stats, but it will help the run game a LOT. That will also help the D... It's about to get really good around here.
