I feel like pinning this thread was a mistake. Like many others, I have a tendency to skip over pinned threads unless I’m specifically looking for something. We will see if activity in this thread goes up, down, or stays the same.

Is there a proven correlation between transfer students and academic progress/prowess? I imagine what you infer in the first paragraph is correct, but it also could just be speculation. I believe there are likely to be high achieving scholars that also transfer for athletic purposes.
