Tre Donaldson walked into his old trap and took over his old trap.

Donaldson is riding high right now and you could see it during this game. This one was personal. Donaldson is from Tallahassee. He grew up there. He went to high school down the road from Florida State Seminoles.

Now he just walked back into his trap and took over.

Donaldson had another 20-point game — nothing new from him at this point. He’s also coming off a 32-point career high. Against Florida State, he finished with 20 points, six assists and six rebounds. He shot 8-for-11 from the field, 4-for-8 from three and 1-for-2 from the free throw line.

He went back home and handled business.

Donaldson was lethal in this one. He got the Hurricanes started early, knocking down a three to set the tone. From that point on, he was in control. And in his homecoming game, he just showed up.

Tre Donaldson is averaging 15.8 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game, and about 6.0 assists per game this season for the Miami Hurricanes. He is shooting roughly 45.1 percent from the field, about 33 percent from three-point range, and around 75 percent from the free throw line.

Big time game for Donaldson.
