Three Game Times Announced for 2026 Football Season

Three additional game times for the Miami Hurricanes’ 2026 football season were jointly announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN Wednesday.

Miami’s home opener at Hard Rock Stadium, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10 vs. Florida A&M, will kick off at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.

The Hurricanes’ Week 3 tilt at Wake Forest, set for Friday, Sept. 18, will begin at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN from Winston-Salem, N.C.

As part of Week 4 action, the Hurricanes will battle Central Michigan at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 26 with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. on The CW.

Miami’s season opener at Stanford, slated for Friday, Sept. 4, was previously announced as a 9 p.m. start on ESPN from Palo Alto, Calif.

We did well viewer wise on Friday last year. ACC and ESPN know that. Miami/wake on Saturday is pedestrian at best against full slate of SEC and B10 games.

At least these games are being televised. For too long these early season games werent even available to watch. Go Canes!

Only one that bugs me is The CW. Even if you have minimal ratings competition in your time slot, a lot of casual viewers are not looking for games on The CW.
