We expect former Miami Hurricane Cam Ward to take over as the starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, after being selected first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. He replaces Will Levis, who will miss the entire 2025–26 season after electing to undergo shoulder surgery.
The Titans released the following statement regarding Levis:
"After consulting with doctors and his representatives, Will Levis has decided to undergo shoulder surgery that will sideline him for the entire 2025 season."
Levis started 12 games for the Titans during the 2024–25 campaign, throwing for 2,091 yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He completed 63.1% of his passes and posted a passer rating of 81.4. He also added 183 rushing yards on 45 attempts, though he did not score any rushing touchdowns.
It was a tough season for Levis, largely due to issues with Tennessee’s offensive line, a unit that is expected to look very different this year.
With Levis sidelined, Cam Ward now steps into the role as the clear-cut starter, as expected, for the Titans in 2025. We wish Will Levis a smooth and successful recovery.
