Recruiting continues for Coach Mario Cristobal, as another defensive back from the SEC has scheduled a visit to Miami.

Christian Charles, a defensive back transferring from Tennessee, told Pete Nakos from On3 that he plans to visit Miami soon. While no specific date has been announced, he also intends to check out Virginia.

Christian, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound defensive back from Gainesville, Florida, is getting ready for his senior year. He’s played all three seasons at Tennessee but has faced a lot of injuries along the way. He missed most of the 2023 season due to an injury.

During his time at Tennessee, Christian played in 30 games, racking up 71 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, a pass breakup, and even blocked a punt against Pitt.

During his second year in 2022, he had a solid season with Tennessee, making 35 tackles and appearing in 10 games.

Charles missed all of Tennessee's spring practices this offseason as he was recovering from his shoulder injury from this past seaosn with the Volunteers.
