Some guys are playing way too much. They might have a slightly higher immediate floor, but that floor won’t go up significantly throughout the year as they are who they are. And for the rest of the season, there are guys that would provide a much higher ceiling if given time now.

Zero rotation on the interior, which means mirabal wanted to roll with these guys.

The guards on the OL are unplayable, they got bullied all night. Play the freshman. Chase Smith is unplayable, he looks like a robot trying to run out there. Wiley, Pruitt, Bonner…should all get snaps over him.

Game reps would accelerate the development of these higher upside younger guys. Feels like a missed opportunity to not mix them in.

I’m not convinced this team can win a national championship with SJ and Chase Smith starting / playing majority of snaps.

LB play is supposed to be Hetherman’s forte.

Let’s see if they make adjustments now that they’ve seen what can happen if you roll out group of 5 players.

Lofton isn’t it either and I’m tired of pretending he is.

At what point does horrendous play cost a player time on the field? Never seen anything like this ever on any team in any sport i have ever watched. The thing is JJ is our best player in defense right now and if it wasn’t for injuries he may have had zero snaps this game.

SJ and Buchanan were literally on the ground half the game.

We just lived through an era of trust me bro “I’m science”.

I think we are all going to choose to use our own eyes and intuition on this one.

Let’s see what he does after this game. The film is going to be brutal on SJ, maybe the guys beneath him just aren’t good enough to take the job but if they are, I would expect to see a change soon. At least I hope so!
