The Houston, Texas, native shot 56.7 percent from the floor, ranking third nationally among freshmen, and capped his freshman campaign with an 18-point performance against second-seeded Purdue in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Reneau, an All-ACC First Team selection a season ago, led the Hurricanes in scoring with 18.9 points per game while adding 6.5 rebounds.
