Miami is set to host one of the country's most underrated linebackers, Rutgers transfer Mohamed Toure, who will visit on Thursday.

Toure had a breakout junior year, but in his senior season of 2024, he tore his ACL, causing him to miss the entire season.

In 2023, he had a breakout year, finishing as the team's second-leading tackler with a total of 92 tackles. He also recorded 4.5 sacks, one interception, and two pass deflections. Over his four seasons at Rutgers, he accumulated a total of 166 tackles and 14 sacks.

Coming out of Pleasantville High School, Toure was rated as a three-star prospect. He received offers from Buffalo, Old Dominion, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Maryland, UMass, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, UCF, Virginia, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, and many more.

The 6-foot-2, 236-pound linebacker will have one year of eligibility remaining.

“One of the most underrated linebackers” gawwwwwwww, breezy already knows how to carry the pail! So young and already knows the game!

We can move him inside and use him like Kiko, right? We still need an enforcer in the middle, no?

I'm not saying we should drop him in coverage that much if at all, but the thump ability + blitz ability is what we need in the middle with Kiko leaving.
