Not one, but two Miami Hurricanes have been projected inside the top 10 of ESPN's latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft.

Offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa and defensive lineman Rueben Bain, two dominant forces in the trenches, both cracked the top 10 of ESPN's projections.

ESPN is especially high on Mauigoa, projecting him as the No. 2 overall pick in next year’s draft. Bain isn’t far behind, landing at No. 7 overall.

The last time a college program had two players selected inside the top 10 was in 2023, when Alabama saw Bryce Young and Will Anderson both go in the top 10.

Check out what ESPN had to say about the Hurricanes:

Francis Mauigoa: No. 2 Pick, New York Giants

Mauigoa enters his third college season as a player on the rise. After allowing five sacks during his true freshman season in 2023, the 6-foot-6, 315-pound right tackle didn't allow a sack last season and drew only three penalties. Mauigoa is best as a run blocker in a zone scheme, with quick feet and the agility to get to the second level. He'd serve as a replacement for disappointing 2022 first-rounder Evan Neal and join a youthful offense that also features 2025 first-round quarterback Jaxson Dart, star second-year receiver Malik Nabers, and emerging running back Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Rueben Bain: No. 7 Pick, Las Vegas Raiders

Seven of the Raiders' 11 picks in 2025 came on offense, including five of the first six. So it's time to pick up a defense that has to face Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Bo Nix twice per season. Las Vegas needs to find Maxx Crosby help on the edge, and Bain's speed-to-power ability could give it that Crosby complement. Bain has 11 sacks in his two college seasons, using his length to create space he can crash through with his trademark power. The 6-foot-3, 275-pound Bain has the build and tools to make an immediate impact from the left edge.

Man there’s no way a right tackle goes 2

And no way Bain goes 7 at sub 6’3
if I were to guess, the highest mauigoa goes is somewhere around 7 like Sewell and membou. Maybe second round if his game film and testing fall short of expectation. Bain has a much much wider range.

I don’t see any world in which Cici falls to the 2nd round. Oline are way too important in the NFL. I would be surprised if he is lower than the 2nd overall lineman drafted. And that still means top half of the 1st round.
In terms of testing, have you not seen the videos of his speed and agility? There are just very few people in the world at his size who move like Cici.

It would be HUGE for the program if Beck, Cici, and Bain go in the first. I know Bain was hurt last year, but he really needs to dominate all year if hes goin to sneak into the 1st. Hes not going first just off of measurables. Needs more than 1 year production. Hoping for the best.

The tackle from Arizona went second round this year, even though he had good film and great testing numbers. Mauigoa is better, but it can happen.

This is a really good year for OTs in this draft. Who goes 1st off the board will come down to scheme fit more than anything between Francis, the Bama kid and the 2 Utah tackles, Barber from UFAG, plus whoever will ineveitably rise in the draft.

Good the Miami Dolphins need a LT & QB this a good draft for both positions.

Looking forward to several pages of why our guys wont go nearly as high as early projections. So Ill go the other route....why it could/should happen.

WalterFootball has them both near the bottom of the first
Tankathon has them 9/13
CBS has them top 10 in their early june and late june update (Not sure what could change this time of year).

There were 2-3 others sites that basically had them both in the same range. They were 2 of maybe 5-6 guys that were consistently in the same range. So clearly most people right now think very highly of both. Them for both Bain - Stay healthy, FM - dominate/whats the position that maximizes his talent.

Every site has different qb's, Off players, etc all over. I saw Sellers as the #1 pick in one and middle of the 2nd in another. Obviously we dont know the guys off the radar or just off the top 2 rounds that take it up a notch. But what if these two kids with some hype take it up a notch. Top 12 is def possible if the right teams and needs line up.

Maybe protecting the blind side of a lefty QB?
