NC State HC Will Wade Very Disappointed In Loss Over Miami: “This Doesn’t Sit Well With Me”

Miami just went into Raleigh and left with a W. That’s three straight wins for the Hurricanes. NC State thought they were coming in with a chip on their shoulder after losing by 30 to Louisville. Yeah… didn’t happen. .
Wade was blunt after the game:
“Well, we got another game Tuesday. Important one. So, hopefully, they'll get past it a lot quicker than I will. This doesn't sit well with me for a lot of reasons.”
He didn’t sugarcoat what he saw coming.
“I could see some of this coming. If you've asked our guys and they were honest… some of the guys who made major mistakes, I called out in practice the last two days. I could see the slippage. I could see multiple guys who didn't play well today. I could see them not playing well. It's like reading a coloring book. So easy to read.”
Wade knows his team. He knows their flaws. He knows when Miami is going to take advantage.
“And we just have very poor attention to detail.”
Jai Lucas and the Miami Hurricanes squad just wanted it more. Look at the rebounding margin. Look at the points in the paint. At the end of the day, it’s going to come down to who makes the hustle plays more. That was Miami.
