Miami and the Hurricanes coaching staff are actively seeking players to commit to their 2026 class by visiting several high schools and prospects. One of the prospects who received a visit from the staff was four-star small forward Jaxon Richardson.

Miami and the coaches visited Jaxon this past Tuesday, along with the Michigan Wolverines.

Richardson goes to Christopher Columbus High School, where Andrew Moran, the new assistant coach for the Hurricanes, used to be the head coach. Just a month ago, he led the team to a championship win. The 6'6" player from Miami had some key moments during the season, including a game-winning slam dunk in the 67-49 championship game against Dynamic Prep.

As per 247Sports, he is ranked as the 19th-best player in the nation and the sixth-best small forward.

This past season at Columbus, Richardson averaged 13.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.2 steals per outing.

This year, he has already scheduled visits with teams like Louisville, Michigan, Alabama, and USC. He has received offers from 19 different schools, especially the ones I mentioned that are in contention for the four-star prospect.
