Miami and Missouri were drawn for the 7-10 game in the West Region side of the bracket. Missouri was somewhat lucky and will have somewhat of an upper hand when the two go at it tomorrow night at the Enterprise Center.

Miami has to traveled more than 1200 miles to play the Tigers. As the game is scheduled in Missouri, just two hours away from their campus.

So you can think of this game as mainly being a home game for the Missouri Tigers.

Jai Lucas said in his last media press conference before the Hurricanes take on the Tigers, that the Hurricanes are preparing like it’s an away game.

Here is what Lucas had to say:

“For us it kind of goes with our motto and theme for the year. We haven't really been respected to the level that we think we should be. Where we were projected to be in the ACC, the projections beginning of the year, now being a Tournament team. Now you get all of this stuff and get all of this credit and praise, and then you get a seventh seed and have to go on the road. So for us it is business as usual. We won eight road games. We are expecting it to be like a road game. We are treat it go like being a real road game. We have to go and earn and take our respect like we have done the whole year.”

Did Miami get unlucky with this draw? I mean, I wouldn’t say that, but it definitely can be used as an advantage for the Tigers, with the advantage of the crowd, atleast.

The Hurricanes know’s what’s coming. They’ll try their best to limit the crowd.
