The Vegas lines are keeping Miami just about where the Hurricanes should be when it comes to winning a ACC title.

Our friends over at BetMGM, are projecting Miami with the fourth best odds to win the Atlantic Coast Conference, after missing out on the tournament last season.

Miami is coming into the tournament as the No. 3 seed, securing the double bye spot, however the Louisville Cardinals (6 seed), are ahead of the Hurricanes when it comes to the odds, sitting at the No. 3 spot.

Leading the ACC is no other than the Duke Blue Devils, the favorite to win the ACC this season. Followed by the Virginia Cavaliers. Duke is sitting at -375, while the Hurricanes of Miami, is sitting at +2000.

The winner of the first-round matchup between SMU (11 seed) and Syracuse (14 seed) will face Louisville in the second round. Whoever wins that game will advance to take on Miami on March 12. That could set up a rematch between the Hurricanes and the Cardinals, who Miami just lost to.

Miami odds to win the title for the Atlantic Coast Conference is right there. The Hurricanes aren't too far off, Miami also has a great path to get to the ACC championship game. It's March anything can happen.

Check out the odds of what BetMGM has the ACC looking like:

(BetMGM) ACC Title Odds
  • Duke | -375
  • Virginia | +750
  • Louisville | +900
  • Miami | +2000
  • North Carolina | +2200
  • Clemson | +4000
  • NC State | +5000
  • SMU | +15000
  • Florida State | +15000
  • Virginia Tech | +20000

Interesting how miami has better odds than UNC. We beat them but they are no pushover either. Miami has come a long ways since last year. We came close to beating uva and louisville a possession away in each game. Duke is only team that will be very difficult for miami to win i think.
