On Tuesday, Miami and North Carolina will lock horns in one of the most anticipated matchups of the Hurricanes’ basketball season.

Out in the desert, the betting line for this colossal Watsco Center showdown was released Monday evening. Once again, the Tar Heels find themselves as a slight road favorite.

According to our friends at FanDuel, North Carolina is listed as a 1.5-point favorite against Miami. The over/under is set at 156.5, while the Hurricanes check in at -104 on the moneyline.

For the season, Miami is 11-12 against the spread (ATS), while North Carolina is 13-10. The Tar Heels have covered five straight games if you don’t count their narrow one-point win over Syracuse, which was a -11.5 favorite, they covered by 10. Hubert Davis’ squad is just 3-3 ATS on the road.

As I say every week and every game, bet responsibly.

Without Washington beating that spread does not seem possible.
