2026 four-star defensive back Jaelen Waters has officially signed with the Hurricanes.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder from Seffner, Fla. was originally committed to Florida, but flipped to Miami in March.
He’s considered one of the top top cornerbacks in the state as well as the country. (No.13 CB Nationally, No. 4 CB in FL).
His length and physicality are some of the best in the class, allowing him to live up to the “seatbelt” name.
Waters stays on top of receivers, very fluid in his shadowing and breaks to force incompletions at a high rate.
At Armwood, Waters was a former teammate of Miami freshmen RB Girard Pringle and LB Kellen Wiley Jr.
