The Miami Hurricanes have officially signed Ala. defensive lineman Tyson Bacon.
At 6-foot-3 and 263 pounds, Bacon played both inside and outside throughout his time in high school.
An early season-ending injury limited his film this fall, but he was still able to shine in the games he played — a formidable force always in the backfield.
He likely will transition to more of an interior player, developing into a tackle during his years at Miami as he taps into his more physical side. But that versatility between the edge and inside will still be crucial during his time as a Hurricane.
