A new recruiting target has emerged from the high school ranks for Miami.
Today, three-star class of 2027 wide receiver Charles "Spider" Davis announced a scholarship offer from Miami. Standing at a massive 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, the California product is considered the No. 589 overall in the country per 247Sports.
Along with Miami, Davis holds additional offers from the likes of Oregon, Michigan, Oklahoma, BYU, UCLA, and others. He recently took a visit to Junior Day at Oregon on January 24th.
Aside from having a great nickname, Davis has turned into a monster at the high school level and has seen his stock rise. In His Junior season at Westlake High School, he played in 11 games and had 30 receptions for 618 yards on the season with 11 touchdowns, plain out stud.
Miami currently has four commits locked in the 2027 cycle: four-star WR Ah'Mari Stevens, three-star OT Zaquan Linton, four-star EDGE Demarcus Deroche, and four-star S Jaylyn Jones.
