Miami Must Be Dialed In When Miami Travels To Virginia

Miami and the Virginia Cavaliers will go at it Saturday afternoon in a showdown for the No. 2 seed in the ACC.

Both squads have new head coaches, and both already have 20 wins on the season.

Virginia is coming into Saturday on a seven-game win streak after a big win over Georgia Tech. They’ve been one of the more consistent teams in the ACC and currently sit at No. 2 in the conference.

I’m going to be honest — I think they’re a little overrated. I think the Hurricanes can get this one.

It’ll be a sellout at John Paul Jones Arena at noon, the fourth sellout of the season for Virginia. The Hurricanes have been tested, but they really haven’t been tested on the road in ACC play. The only true big-time road game was against Clemson, and Miami lost that one to the Tigers.

Miami just has to be dialed in for this game. This is one you can drop, so it’s not the end of the world, but it would be a really good win if the Hurricanes take care of business, especially with March Madness just a couple of weeks away.

We already know that place will be rocking. The Hurricanes have to be disciplined and do what needs to be done. Miami is hot. Virginia is hot.

This will be a good one.

Saturday is another chance.
