Hurricanes fans are ready for the next opponent on the schedule after Stanford Cardinal 45-6 and the FAMU Rattlers 77-7. However, Miami has to turn around quickly to play against the 2-0 Wake Forest Demon Deacons, who recently went into double overtime with Purdue, downing the Boilermakers 38-36.

Mario Cristobal will be taking his team on the road as 22.5-point favorites over the Demon Deacons. The total is set at 55.5-points as the money line sits at -2800 for the Hurricanes. The team is currently 2-0 against the spread this season and 1-0 as away favorites.

On the other side of the ball, the Demon Deacons are currently 0-2 against the spread. They failed to cover against the Purdue Boilermakers and the Akron Zips. In the overtime win over Purdue, quarterback Gio Lopez completed 16 of his 27 passing attempts, throwing for 225 yards and one touchdown. He also ran the ball 13 times for 59 yards, leading the team on the ground.

The good guys lead the all-time series, 9-3. The latest matchup was in 2024, when Miami dominated from start to finish, downing the Demon Deacons 42-14.

As I am going to say every week, bet responsibly. Go Canes.

Vegas is saying 39-17? I like the over a lot. Felt like Stanford was moving the ball on us and the backup OL holds kept them from scoring. And on offense if we don't pull the starters in this one I'd be shocked if we don't score 40.

56-31 or something like that. They have a good offense. Our defense will slow them down but not stop them. 45-24. Blah. Closer but not nail biting close.
