Wake up everybody! It's officially game week for your University of Miami Hurricanes.

Head coach Mario Cristobal has the Hurricanes sitting at a perfect 6-0 record and 4-0 in conference play. The squad is coming off a 43-35 double-overtime victory over the Florida State Seminoles. It wasn't pretty by any means, but the team found a way to get it done.

It's a new week, so we're now on to Week 8 as the Hurricanes prepare for the Pittsburgh Panthers this Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Hurricanes are 20.5-point favorites over the Panthers, with the over/under set at 51.5 points. The money line sits at -1800 for Miami and +920 for Pittsburgh.

This season, the Hurricanes are 4-2 against the spread and 2-1 as home favorites. The team has failed to cover against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and the Florida State Seminoles. On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Panthers are 4-3 against the spread and 1-0 as away underdogs.

It's another big opportunity for the team to keep on rolling, and to get back to the ACC Championship game for the first time since 2017. As I say every week, bet responsibly. Go Canes.

Well this should be a fun thread.

In reality it’s a noon kick after an emotional win where we are just as banged up as we were before it seems.

I’m surprised Pitt isn’t favored by 20 the way some folks are acting around here
that cfp run was a gift and a curse ... we're ecstatic for make the championship game but now we know what it's suppose to look like and right now our dbs and oline aren't on par

I hope MC gets the team up and ready to play and not have some let down against Pitt after a huge and emotional game vs FSU. It's happened too many times this season.

Unless the ACC command center decided to retract our W from Saturday night, we are 4-0 in conference play Fam.

We will not come close to covering that if Dawson still holds up his middle finger and runs into numbers. They're defense is a lot better than FSUs, who stuffed us plenty.

Pitt defense is better or worse than Clemson? Probably better against the run with Clemson better in the air ?

Pitt offense not so good

Pitt defense going to be a challenge

VT put up 500 yds on them a couple of weeks ago

If we rush for 257 yards at 5.8 per clip. We should be alright.

Last week I said I wouldn't touch the FSU spread with a 10-ft pole. This week, I got us demolishing this spread, which I expect to go up over 21 before game time.

Canes by 28+.

Who’s the backup QB that we’re about to make look like a heisman contender?
