One of the top portal targets arrived in Coral Gables yesterday.
On Friday, a source tells 247Sports that Robert Morris transfer forward DeSean Goode arrived in Coral Gables yesterday morning. Miami was quick to reach out to Morris once he officially entered the transfer portal on May 23, and now is on the Coral Gables campus.
A 6-foot-8 rising junior, Goode averaged 15.3 points, and 8.7 rebounds in 30.9 minutes per outing last season for Robert Morris while shooting 57.1 percent from deep. 247Sports Transfer Rankings ranks him 70th overall and the 18th best power forward to enter the portal so far this offseason. Louisville, Kansas, St. John’s, and Kentucky are also after the talented forward prospect.
Goode was the Horizon League Player of The Year this past season.
Miami is looking to add shooters on the team, getting Goode on campus, proves the Hurricanes want him, and want to prioritize him in the Jai Lucas offensive scheme.
