Miami has already had a couple of players take visits this season, now they're adding one more to the mix: 2027 five-star guard Cayden Daughtry.

The 6-foot, 155-pound point guard from Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) announced that he would be in attendance for the Miami vs No. 11 North Carolina game on Tuesday, Feb. 10. It will be his first time on campus for an unofficial visit.

Daughtry holds offers from Michigan, BYU, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Iowa, Florida State, among others. He has taken a visit to Michigan and said he would like to take trips to Iowa, Florida State, and Miami.

Cayden Daughtry's Game
Fort Lauderdale (Florida) five-star point guard Cayden Daughtry is the nation's No. 16 overall prospect according to 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he is ranked the No. 4 point guard in the class of 2027 according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

This one could be big, Hurricanes fans, especially if Miami comes in and upsets No. 11 North Carolina in a packed-out Watsco Center. Jai Lucas already has one big win in the 2027 recruiting cycle, which is five-star power forward Caleb Gaskins. What an addition Cayden Daughtry would be to the 2027 recruiting class if he were commit here. Don't count Jai Lucas and the Hurricanes out just yet.

Didn’t know there were any big time kids at that school. Went to church there for 10-15 years before moving out of the area.
