Hurricanes head coach Jai Lucas provided some injury news on Hurricanes forward Timotej Malovec after missing the last couple of games for the Hurricanes.
Lucas provided an injury update on his status as Miami prepares for the Louisville Cardinals tomorrow afternoon.
Lucas said that Timotej is day-to-day as of yesterday afternoon. Timo is taking it day by day and taking it slow as Miami prepares for the ACC Tournament.
Here is what Lucas had to say exactly about his status:
“Timo started to do more,” Lucas said. “I guess he’s more day-to-day than anything that he was before.”
Malovec is currently averaging 4.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per game while also shooting 35.0 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from behind the arc.
Timotej is the only injured Hurricane heading into the month of March. Miami has faced a decent amount of injuries throughout the season. However, it hasn’t been anything major in Miami’s performance.
