Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes coaching staff have been in contention for multiple top prospects in the 2028 recruiting class. One of those targets released his top-12 schools, naming the Miami Hurricanes.

Cornerback Ca'Ron Williams, a four-star from California, shared on social media his cutting list. His group of twelve includes California, Washington, LSU, Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, and USC.

Williams is ranked as the No. 187 overall recruit in the 2028 class and the No. 19 cornerback, according to the 247Sports Composite Recruiting Rankings.

He represents Santa Margarita Catholic High School. During his sophomore season, he recorded a total of 47 tackles, two tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and three interceptions.

With Miami being such a fairly new school in his recruitment, he has not had the time to set up a visit to Miami just yet. He has already taken unofficial visits to USC, UCLA, SMU, Arizona State, Arizona, and Texas.

The USC Trojans are considered the favorite to land the blue-chip prospect. We'll see if Mario Cristobal can secure a commitment from Williams to beat out multiple contenders in his recruitment.
