All season long, Mario Cristobal--the head coach of the Miami Hurricanes--has been asking fans to make Hard Rock Stadium feel like an asylum to make an elite gameday experience for not only the players but the fans.

The Orange and Green faithful have delivered yet again after the team defeated in-state rival the Florida State Seminoles in double-overtime.

Cristobal opened his Monday press conference by thanking the fans for making such an elite gameday atmosphere:

“I'd like to start off by thanking our fans and the tremendous amount of appreciation for them. They were a difference maker on Saturday, tremendous impact, and it was awesome to see the community come out like that, the alumni. Just an incredible environment, and need them again. Their presence is requested again on noon on Saturday to make it a tremendous home-field advantage, and looking forward to seeing everybody there,” said Cristobal.

This morning, Cristobal also stated on the Joe Rose Show that the recruits were also impressed by the atmosphere:

“They got to experience Hard Rock just going bananas, a true asylum night. And I thought they were raving about their experience. They were raving about the fan base, because the fan base, they came out, and they came out strong, brother. They say, the guys that were at the game, the players that were here as guests, they say it was the loudest place they've ever been at, especially back there towards the end in overtime. So great experience for everybody, and we're looking forward to that paying off some dividends.”

Some fans even said this was the loudest environment inside Hard Rock Stadium, noting that it was louder than the Notre Dame games in 2017 and 2025.

The Hurricanes Faithful have truly made an impact this season, traveling all over the country to watch the team we all love and support. Fans also took over Death Valley and Wake Forest this season.

Fans you’re making a huge difference this season. Keep it up!
