Miami football has extended an offer out to three-star edge rusher Jayvon Dawson.
On Thursday afternoon, three-star edge rusher Jayvon Dawson out of (Lake Worth, FL) announced on social media that he received an offer from the Miami Hurricanes coaching staff.
Dawson's offer list now includes 23 schools: Miami, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Maryland, NC State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, UCF, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Georgia State, South Florida, Troy, Eastern Michigan, FIU, Liberty, Toledo, and Western Kentucky.
Dawson, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound edge rusher plays in the South Florida area with Santaluces Community High School. Dawson had a productive junior season with the Chiefs racking up a total of 68 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, eight sacks, one pass breakup and one forced fumble.
He currently runs a 4.66 40-yard dash and a 38.5" vertical jump.
Dawson has three visits set up: North Carolina (June 5th), Georgia (June 12th), and wrapping up his summer visits with Kentucky (June 19th).
