The folks in Las Vegas are predicting a close one on Tuesday in Tallahassee.
According to our friends at BetMGM, Miami Hurricanes (21-6) is a 2.5-point favorite to beat Florida State (14-13) inside Tallahassee. The total has been set at 154.5, which averages out to a projected score of approximately 78-76 in favor of the Hurricanes. Of note, Miami hasn't won a game at Florida State since 2022.
That spread is about in line with what the computer numbers are calling for, too. ESPN gives the Hurricanes a 61 percent chance to beat the Seminoles of Florida State, while BartTorvik isn’t too far away from that either, giving the Hurricanes a 51 percent chance at the win with a final score of 81-80.
Florida State is one of, if not, the hottest team in the country at the moment. Coach Luke Loucks has the Seminoles rolling, they're currently on a three game winning streak, after starting 0-5 in ACC play.
