The National media, along with Jeff Goodman, released the media mock Bracketology yesterday night, where the Hurricanes found themselves in the field.

These rankings provide an early glimpse into where your team stands heading into March. The rankings are determined by the selection committee members, who have the opportunity to predict the field a couple of weeks before the actual selection is made.

Of course, us Hurricanes fans are just as happy as the Hurricanes are almost certain to make the field, especially if they secure a victory against Virginia tomorrow. This outcome is particularly significant considering the challenges faced last season. Hurricanes fans are willing to accept any seed in the field.

Goodman and the selection committee have placed the Hurricanes at the No. 10 spot in the tournament bracket. According to the committee, the Hurricanes are scheduled to face the Iowa Hawkeyes in the first round, which will be held in Philadelphia.

If the Hurricanes advance to the second round after defeating Iowa, they will likely face the Michigan Wolverines, formerly known as the Tre Donaldson’s team, which holds the No. 1 seed in their region.

The region is quite tough, featuring the (2) UConn, (3) Kansas, (4) Arkansas, and (6) Kentucky. It’s a tough region to even get into the Sweet 16.

Puleez.. we should be 9th or higher. Goodman is doing us no favors

Miami is a 10 seed as a team who is 21-5 and the #3 team in the ACC

Alrighty then!! Make it make sense please
the perception of hte conf in hoops has not been great in a few seasons. UNC, Duke, and UVA being good again has def helped that perception. basically, whenever miami is good, the acc sucks is their thought process meanwhile you have like 8 loss SEC teams ranked like its football

a win tom should push us into top 6 seed realistically considering it would be two ranked wins and a 11-3 conf record and 22-5 overall.

They are licking the NET ratings' nuts. It's ridiculous and lazy.

It's bull****. Florida is very good but they are running through the SEC with a 15+ point margin as the floor. The SEC got 14 last year and looks 11 this year. The numbers and seedings for the SEC are a joke. Today we should be an 8 at worse a 9. Beat UVA and we should be a 7 and moving up.
