Miami and Jai Lucas have just landed a player from the EuroLeague in Salih Altuntas, who has made his decision to join the Hurricanes roster for the 2025-26 season.
Salih Altuntas, born on February 27, 2006, stands at six feet nine inches tall (2m08 / 6-10). He plays the center position and recently played for Istanbulspor in the Turkish Basketball League (TBL).
During his time playing for Istanbulspor last season, he averaged 10.1 points and grabbed 9.1 rebounds per game, with a shooting percentage of 54.1% from the field.
Salih is now the second international player to join the roster, as Timotej Malovec also joined the roster in the offseason.
