Markel Bell announces new “Bell Burger” at Pops Subs

Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Markel Bell has a burger named after him that was debut on the CanesInSight show today.

Pops Subs in Miami, Florida has recently released a new menu item to its burger selection: The Bell Burger, aptly named after Miami’s offensive lineman Markel Bell.

The burger includes three patties, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and a special Markel Bell sauce.

He also proceeds go towards his back to school drive in August and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Miami needs to Find a way to Keep Markell Bell for 2026. It should be a Priority.
If he is a projected 2nd or 3rd round Why not do Cam Ward come Back to Miami?

A lot of people keep saying he will go, But Bell would be better Serve Getting another year of High NIL+injury Insurance ,Coaching & refinement.
Become a bonofide 1st Rounder.
Markell wins either way because Money Will be there either way .But 1 more year of Refinement could help him Long-Term.


Bell has made Tremendous Progress However just like Mount McKinne at 6’9
Redshirted ‘99 played was a Key Member in ‘00 ‘01.
One of the secret of Championship teams they Get there Players to Come Back.

Getting players to return is maybe the top ingredient. Look at Clemson the year they won in Trevor’s freshman year. That dl was 3 seniors. And dexter lawrence I think was a year younger

OK my personal Markel Bell Story:

Last seaon, I bought seats up in the first row, south side behind canes bench but right near the Tunnel entrance on SW side. Wanted to test out new areas of the stadium in case I could relocate my current Season tickets.

After the game, Bell came over and a couple of guys next to me were chatting him up, getting autographs, and taking selfies. I tell you, I couldn't have witnessed a more polite and respectful young man. I even waited till they were done to tell him thanks for coming over and snapped a few photos of my own. Whole time, btw, Mini-Mustache man is hopping all around 15 yards back, hollering at Bell to come to the Locker Room, team was waiting, etc...he was pacing and kept calling Bell over.... Big man took his time with the fans and then left to join his team in the locker room...he was the very last guy to do so by several minutes.

Not sure if he got in trouble for that, but - I felt like I got a chance to see a very humble young man absolutely loving the chance to sit around and sign stuff for fans, and I immediately became more of a fan.

Oh and that sub sounds amazing I gotta see if I can check it out.

I think you meant Wurst. Wienerschnitzel is like a country fried boneless pork chop, veal or chicken pounded until it’s about a 1/4” thick, pan fried then either topped Vienna Art with just lemon or Bavarian style with a mushroom wine Jaeger sauce or with a pepper based red sauce. 😉

To go with your name, you’d want Bockwurst.

Wienerschnitzel is a hot dog chain in California. I ate there once. To call it awful would be doing disservice to the word awful.
I am aware of Wienerschnitzel the German/Danish dish. It is not awful. Quite tasty actually.

Buck Wurst is my **** name. I oftentimes am cast type as a pizza delivery boy.

There is a sub chain in NE Ohio called Mr Hero. They have a sub called the Roman Burger.
Two hamburger patties, salami, mortadella, cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing on a sub roll. Heart attack on a bun, but sooo good.
