Mark Fletcher is running it back at Miami next season.

The Hurricanes’ running back confirmed he’s coming back after another strong year in the backfield, and he’s not done yet. Miami still has one more game against Ohio State with a chance to compete for a championship if they win on December 31st.

Fletcher is in the middle of a breakout season, sitting at 857 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s also been reliable in the pass game, adding 107 receiving yards, and has been one of the most consistent pieces of Miami’s offense all year.

Getting Fletcher back is a big win for the Canes. Miami keeps a proven weapon heading into next season — and that matters.

Fletch is back!

Wonder what his draft feedback was, as in what he needs to work on… either way great news for us.

Sweet! It's a win-win across the board and now, we know who the leader of the team will be next year. We'll have our QB, but like Ed Reed was for the 01' team, Mark will be for this team.

Great news , 1st time in a while someone isn’t NFL ready nice to hear he just made millions in not being NFL ready .

100% agree- great move for the kid.

Maybe cause we all follow this team more than other teams (definition of fanatic), but we have seen soooo mannnny kids leave early when they should have stayed and bettered their game. Streeter, Bandy, Norton, McIntosh, and more and more.

Certainly NIL era helps, but his refreshingly good news for us.

I wonder how much DMart not coming back and seeing him not make a roster impacted his decision.

True…and I’m sure that factored in.

Either way…we’ll be have to Fletch around next year

All those kids who cut out way too early to crash and burn.
Yes the NFL looks great on TV colorful fast exciting.
I would love if the X and others who barely made it for one year would come and share how grueling and unforgiving the NFL is for players to attempt let alone just say your NFL ready .

Huge. Will have back2back 1k yard rushing seasons 😉

Probably has more to do with backs in general just not being valued in the draft unless you're a freak Saquon type. He'll do better with another year of NIL than battling on someone's practice squad.

Back in the day when I was training with Steve Alvers who played TE at Miami and (5) years in the NFL Bills and Giants.
I asked many times how is was in the NFL the speed , hitting and study of your position never ends .
Every single day is a fight for your job stress , anxiety and constantly worrying if your performance is at expected levels just in practice warmup.

To just say your NFL ready is laughable

Moten and Bell me next and I’ll be saying all sorts of crazy **** this off-season .
