It’s ACC Media Day, and talking season is heating up—with an early injury update on quarterback Carson Beck.
Miami head coach Mario Cristobal offered a positive update on Beck’s status during his appearance on The Joe Rose Show this morning.
Here’s what Cristobal had to say:
“In spring ball, he was limited—didn’t get to do much. But within a week and a half to two weeks after spring, he’s been full-go and has participated fully in everything we’ve done. Tremendous competition, accurate arm, strong legs, strong runner, excellent human being. We feel we’re getting the best version of Carson Beck.”
Beck emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the country in 2023, throwing for 3,941 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just 6 interceptions, averaging 9.5 yards per attempt. In 2024, he followed that up with 3,485 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
Over the past two seasons, Beck has compiled a 24-3 record as a starter, passing for 7,426 yards with a 68.4% completion rate, 52 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions.
