The Miami Hurricanes football team has been putting on a clinic with a 5-0 start to the 2026-27 college football season after defeating the Stanford Cardinal, FAMU Rattlers, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Central Michigan Chippewas, and the Clemson Tigers.

And the Miami Hurricanes fans are taking notice.

This past weekend, the team visited Death Valley, downing the Clemson Tigers 41-13. As soon as the clock hit zero, the party in Memorial Stadium was just starting for the Orange and Green faithful, as a massive crowd of supporters greeted the team off the field.

Yesterday morning, head coach Mario Cristobal spoke on the Joe Rose Show, recapping the win over the Tigers and taking a moment to thank the fans that showed out at the stadium.

"Holy crap. I was shocked. We walk out, I’m like is this real? There’s orange and green everywhere. Their presence was felt. When we pulled up to the stadium, same thing. And at the end of the game, They’re on the field. They’re celebrating with our guys. Really made our guys feel good. I’m glad that they feel proud and looking forward to seeing more and more of them on the road," said Cristobal.

Clemson fans also noted that they've never seen a fanbase travel better than Miami.

"I've never seen a fan base travel better than Miami did for this game. Miami always travels well because there are a lot of fans scattered throughout the country but this is insane," he added. "There is a TON of Miami fans here. An hour before game time and Miami fans have already fully encircled the whole lower deck wall close to the field on the visitor side. Insane."

After every Clemson Tigers victory, fans will rush the field. Well, Hurricanes fans took matters into their own hands and rushed the field to support the team.

I can also say for myself that the fan support has been on another level this season. Not only the fanbase has packed Hard Rock Stadium, but also took over Stanford, Wake Forest, and Clemson. I was in attendance for the Wake Forest game and I could say that it was close to 60/40 Wake Forest fans.

Honestly, I've never saw the fan base travel so well. Great job fans. Go Canes.

I'm gonna pull an @k9cane and tell a story, and maybe he can even back me up.

After the 2000 season, which felt very much like last season in the "what could have been" category, there was a ton of pent up energy amongst Canes fans. My guess is it's when apprehension leaves your thoughts and you realize you deserve to be here. And that there's still more to do. We had a bad home schedule that year and when the fans finally had a chance to use all that energy we got the Washington game. By far, the most electric atmosphere I've ever been a part of.

I see that same energy this year. Filling up the FAMU and Central Michigan games like we did...that's different. I say that as a decades long season ticket holder. It was shocking to me. But you know you're gonna win those games so you show up but that energy is still there. I have a feeling the FSU game is going to be the first time Miami fans can really let go of some of that energy. I think it's going to be absolutely wild there.

The longer this team keeps going the wilder it's gonna get. Last year was a surprise and I think a lot of people were stuck processing the success, the losses, and how good Miami really is. I think we all get it now.

Well said and perfect analogy. I felt it a lil at the cotton bowl though it was more reserved and appreciative for being on that stage again. I remember collapsing after Daniel’s catch, didn’t even see browns TD but to your point, next Saturday will be similar to Washington. I’ll go 69-10

The energy is different. My son went to a high school football game with some friends right outside of Akron, Ohio Friday night. He saw an older guy with a Canes jacket on and told me he went up to him and said "Go Canes" and put up The U. He said the guy got hype about it. He told me his friends got scared how hype the guy and my son were about it. I text him back and told him its a Canes thing. Other schools fans will never understand.

I went to Wu Tang and Bones Thugs and Harmony last month here wearing Canes gear, and ran into a bunch of people that walked by saying Go Canes. Buckeye fans still give the stink eye, but **** 'em.

yes, and I also think that Miami now being on a set Saturday schedule will help things in terms of attendance and getting into a certain rhythm as a team. Again, I don't think we've ever seen a bye so perfectly scheduled for a Miami team. I still think the best football is ahead of them (just gotta cut out the silly mistakes and get healed up)
