Former Miami Hurricane Francisco Mauigoa has been selected by the New York Jets in the 5th round, with the No. 162 pick.

With Maugioa's addition to the draft, he becomes the fourth Hurricane selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

At Francisco's senior year at Miami, he racked up a total of 96 tackles, two sacks, and one interception.

Mauigoa received his only Power 5 offer from Washington State, where he was ranked as the 12th recruit in the 2021 class. He played in 25 games for Washington State from 2021 to 2022, recording a total of 77 tackles, 6 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 pass deflections, and 1 INT.

Nfl.com has his prospect grade 5.69. Nothing more than career backup or practice squad guy

As a longtime Fin fan I can't root for a Jet but congrats anyways to the young man 🙌

Our fans can't distinguish player vs coaching failures. Guidry screwed over Kiko in a big way. Meesh too, for that matter.
It seems like Miami goes out it's way to sabotage the come back

I’m a fan of Kiko, so huge congrats to him. Hope he balls out. While I agree Guidry put Kiko (and our entire defense) in a bad position, Kiko didn’t do himself any favors by missing easy tackles, taking bad angles, and committing stupid penalties. Not to mention cold ****ing that Duke player. Lucky he didn’t get a penalty and kicked out of the game.
