Jalen Rivers selected to the Cincinnati Bengals in 5th round

Former Miami Hurricanes offensive tackle Jalen Rivers is heading to Cincinnati with being the No. 153 pick in the fifth round to team up with former Canes center Matt Lee.

Rivers was a member of the Miami offensive line that helped pave way for No. 1 offense in nation in both points per game 43.9 and yards per game 537.2.

He Helped the offensive line to spot on Joe Moore Award Honor Roll at midseason, honoring nation’s top-performing units. Started eight games at left tackle, earning All-ACC honorable mention recognition as one of conference’s top linemen.

Congratulations!! I was hopeful he might go in the 3rd round ! But he will do great in his next chapter.

am I right that matt lee, Javion Cohen, and now rivers are all on the same OL?
 
He’s setup to succeed in an offense that needs reliable protection for Joe Burrow. He should get a shot at Guard in training camp, and worse case be in the 2 deep if he brings it and can avoid the injury bug
 
Unfortunately the bungals have set the standard for ****** treatment of players. I'm this day and age to not have proper nutrition for pro athletes is a big f you to everyone on staff
 
Bengals have been cheap since the beginning of time.
 
Forgot who said it. But some rookie a few years back said that his high school in Texas had better facilities than the bengals.
